About Us
Major Training Services (MTS) was founded on the Northern Beaches of Sydney in 1994.
The founding members of MTS had significant and considerable experience with the learning services then available in Defence and Government Departments. Their own experience in developing, delivering, and managing training identified a need for focused learning services. In particular, there was an immediate need for financial and resource management training in Defence as well as a significant need for government procurement and contract management training across the board.
They saw a need for specialist facilitators to deliver traditionally dry subjects, such as financial management and procurement, particularly in Government.
MTS now enjoys an ongoing working relationship with over 130 clients largely from the government sector, as well as with many clients from the corporate and community sectors across Australasia and the pacific.
